Little Tommy T will grow into his feet!
Everything about a cheetah is built for speed. At five-weeks-old, Tommy T’s paws already show why…he has his own running cleats! A cheetah’s feet are what set him apart from all the other cats because his claws are non-retractile. They are always out and, in fact, when a cheetah is running they extend out even further to provide the traction needed to reach those unmatchable speeds…O to 40 mph in three strides, 70 breath-taking miles per hour when chasing its prey!
