Arriving at the school.

Here they come!
This is a big day for Tommy T and Pow Wow. They are going to their very first school program. Everything depends on this being a good experience for this young cub and puppy. Cathryn, Kathy and Alicia explain all of this to the 200 plus students and faculty. They need to be very quiet as Tommy comes out of his crate. Cheetahs are so very visual and, by nature, very nervous. They are always on the alert. Any loud noise or sudden movement and Tommy T will remember that for a very long time.
The Cincinnati Zoo’s Cat Ambassador Program is honored to introduce Tommy T and Pow Wow.

I was a volunteer at Cheetah Outreach in South Africa in 2007, raising cheetahs there for their Ambassador program, and just wanted to say how much I love visiting this website every day! I miss ‘my’ cheetahs in S. Africa desperately, and this site gives me my daily dose of cheetah cuteness! Tommy T is doing so well with his training!
I think this si the best cheetah blog in the history of life on Earth.
