We interrupt this cheetah blog for a couple of posts about our servals. Often confused with baby cheetahs, servals are also known as the “poor man’s cheetah”. They are an African cat and they live in tall grasslands where they are able to jump 5 times their body length to catch birds out of the sky!
In captivity, they enjoy getting into all kinds of trouble!
Jambo made the easy jump onto the kitchen counter to investigate a glass of tea.
Looks like the tea could use some stirring?
Maybe Jambo was just trying to keep the tea warm with his paw?
Don’t worry, we let trainer Alicia know her tea had been seasoned by a serval BEFORE she took another sip!

This is wrong! Serval’s are wild cats deserving to be wild, not to be kept for your amusement.
haha there’s no way a cat that size ISN’T trouble incarnate!
Adorable! Absolutely made my day on cuteness overload.
