The Zoo partners with the Joanie Bernard Foundation to spread the word about housecat spay and neutering programs available at low cost or no cost.

Remember these four main points when looking for your purrrfect match:

1. A housecat can be trained.

2. Keep only housecats (not wild cats) as pets.

3. Adopt housecats from a shelter (versus buying them).

4. Keep cats indoors to protect native wildlife.

The plan is for Joanie, Bernard and Batman to participate in the summer Cheetah Enounter Show once they are trained, so keep an eye out for their cameos this year! In the meantime, visitors can see these kittens at the nursery in the Children’s Zoo.
